This Henfield style driveway gate has a curve top. The top section is open with slats, this can be changed for hit and miss. This gate has non-bottom rail visible from the front and is suitable for automation. If you would like the bottom rail visible from the front you will need to add strengthened bottom rail to your order. The link is below. The Henfield style gate is on a 3″ frame and made out of Iroko. Iroko is a West African hardwood which is very durable. We source all our timber from local certified timber merchants.

Staining

At Jakk we would recommended to stain your chosen gate to avoid surface weathering, which will eventually make the timber go a sliver / grey colour. Some people do prefer this. We have a range of shades for you to choose from. There is a photo in the gallery. We appreciate looking on the screen isn’t the same as looking in person, so we are able to send stain samples upon request.

Engraving

You could choose to have can the top rail of your gate engraved or inlay an engraved panel. If you have a pair of gates we can place the engraving along both gates or vertically down the styles. We will always provide you with a proof copy for your approval before processing.
